GParted, GNOME Partition editor is a free opensource Partition Editor for Linux and can be used as a Live CD to boot a system and edit the Hard Disk partitions. GParted is an industrial-strength package for creating, destroying, resizing, moving, checking and copying partitions, and the filesystems on them.
