Some of the video formats include MPEG, Quicktime,AVI, H.264,Divx,Windows Media, Flash Video. Miro is great to watch online video contents like contents from Youtube.

To install Miro in openSUSE,
PackMan repositories have precompiled installation package for Miro.
Install in openSUSE 10.3 & 10.2
There is a “1 click install” available for openSUSE 10.3 & 10.2 at PackMan Repository.

Click the “1 click install” icon and start the downloaded file using Yast2 and follow onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Alternatively, import PackMan packages and run the installer as follows:

Once added the PackMan repository install Miro as follows:
saihari@Linux:~# yast2 –install miro
This should install Miro on your computer.
You should now see the Miro shortcuts installed under Internet & Multimedia Start menus (KDE & GNOME)
